Starting a baby registry can be magical and feel like a fresh start. You are choosing the products you want to use in your baby’s first years of life.
Registries allow you to have some control over the types of products you would prefer, especially if you are an eco-parent-to-be, concerned with sustainability and living an environmentally friendly life.

Bottles
Glass bottles are a great option for those parents looking to minimize plastic in their household. Glass is easy to clean, does not absorb flavors or smell, is 100% recyclable, and can be recycled infinitely.
Here are some popular options on Amazon. (Click the photos below to be taken to Amazon).

Eco-Friendly Diapering
Are you going for disposable or cloth diapers? Maybe a little bit of both? Don’t forget the wipes and all-important diaper cream. Choose one that’s safe for your baby and highly rated!
Disposable diapers
Bamboo Nature Premium Disposable Diapers

The Honest Company Clean Conscious Diapers

The Honest Company Overnight Diapers

Disposable wipes
Babies go through more wipes than diapers! If you’re choosing disposable wipes, make sure they are plant-based and hypoallergenic. And never buy one pack at a time! Buying in bulk is the way to go with diapers and wipes to reduce waste.
The Honest Company Clean Conscious Wipes

Cloth diapers
Cloth diapers come in several variations. For the most basic, you will need a diaper cover and an insert. Diaper covers are usually adjustable to accommodate a large range of sizes. Diaper inserts can be cotton prefolds often called “flats,” or bamboo/hemp blended pads. There’s also an option of reusable outters with disposable (compostable) inserts. Overall, I highly recommend checking out this post if you’re considering cloth diapering:

ALVABABY Cloth Diaper Covers

Pacific Neutrals Pocket Diapers

Thirsties Duo Wrap Cover

Gerber Prefold Cloth Diapers

Bamboo Inserts

Reusable wipes
If you’re using reusable wipes, they usually look like small washcloths. You can choose to spray them with a DIY cleansing solution of water, baby soap, and some soothing essential oils. I used to keep mine in a large glass jar and refill when needed. Here is another convenient option for reusable wipes.
54 Pack Flannel Wipes with Dispenser

Diaper cream
Diaper creams are a must for changing all those diapers. Keep your baby’s bottom protected with these options. (If you’re choosing to cloth diaper, make sure you check your diaper cream! Lots of diaper creams will permanently stain your cloth diapers.)
La Petite Crème French All Natural Diaper Cream

The Honest Company Diaper Rash Cream

Diaper Rash Cream Applicator
